Acadia for Young People
A wonderful book for young people visiting Acadia is Discovering Acadia: A Guide for Young Naturalists
. It was written by Meg Scheid as her graduation project at College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor. Meg later became a full-time park naturalist, and now works with her Canadian counterpart in charge of the joint St. Croix International Park about as far Down East as you can go.
